Non-profit
Nonprofit
Our emerging NonProfit work focuses on installing edible gardens for institutions and publicly accessible parks. Currently this initiative is a donation branch of HomeHarvest. We donated over 100 fruit trees to schools, prisons, and parks and we educate about sustainable agriculture and medicinal herbalism.
We’re currently seeking a philanthropist to join our board of directors and fund food security related projects in Massachusetts and abroad. Our goals:
Funding to incorporate
Planting 10 million trees by 2025
Building urban parks with fruit trees, sculptures, murals, and education
Aerial reforestation projects; dropping millions of tree seeds and seedlings from airplanes
Food security fruit tree planting near refugee camps
Educational curriculum applied to school gardens
Educating people how to grow their own food
Increasing prison food production programs
